Allston Congregational Church

1890 Historic Structure built by Woodward & Leighton, builders of the Boston Public Library. Mills Whitaker Architects has provided the following services:

• 1997 Rehabilitation Assessment Report – funded with matching grant from Historic Boston Incorporated Steeples Project.
• 1999 Tower Restoration Project – MHC & HBI grant-funded project which included masonry repairs, roofing repairs & replacement (copper, rubber, slate), bird proofing and window restoration.
• 2000 Cupola & Front Gables Restoration – developed scope of work and construction documents for project funded by the Henderson Foundation.
• 2007 Selective Repairs – developed scope of work for roofing, masonry and structural repairs for project partially funded by Historic Boston Incorporated.
